Privacy Policy

Since 1998, Successful Image has been committed to respecting the privacy of our clients and the information they provide.  We recognize the need of people with whom we do business for the appropriate management and protection of any Personal Information that you agree to provide to us.

Our Privacy management Plan includes guidelines on the collection, accuracy, storage, security, use and retention of your Client Information as follows:

(i) Collection:  Successful Image receives personal information (names, addresses, birthdates and similar information) from you about individual clients for the purpose of mailing personalized correspondence (in the form of birthday cards, anniversary cards, Christmas cards, etc.) on your behalf, to your clients in order to help you better manage your business. Client information is not collected on computer servers via the internet.  Successful Image limits the collection and use of personal information to that required for the business purposes that you specify or to comply with legislation.

(ii) Accuracy:  Successful Image will make every reasonable effort to ensure that the personal information it collects and uses is accurate and complete. Before we mail anything on your behalf, you will have the opportunity to review and correct that information.

(iii) Storage:  Successful Image will store personal information using hard copy and/or electronic means in such a way as to prevent unauthorized collection, access, use, disclosure or disposal of the personal information.

The client information that you provide us is maintained in house at our offices in Tecumseh, ON  and the information you have provided to us is only used for the purposes you have outlined.   As for the storage of your client information, it is kept on our own systems internally.  As well, all of our backup systems are held internally.  We do not use any off-site storage of the information you have provided.

(iv) Information Security:  Successful Image has no involvement with any other third parties and / or data sharing, data pooling, nor do we provide access rights to the information you provide to any third party.  Our in office network and storage are encrypted and password protected.  Access is limited to staff on a “need to know basis.  If you require, all data transmissions can be encrypted as well.

All Employees, who in any way handle or manage your Client Information have acknowledged and agreed to adhere to our Privacy Code and the procedures that support that code.

Access logs are maintained and available upon request.  If a security breach is suspected, Successful Image will assist in the investigation of that suspected breach.

(v) Use:  Your client information (which is limited to names and addresses) that we obtain from you is used ONLY for the purpose of sending cards and material we have discussed with you (cards, invitations, newsletters, etc.).  We do not use any of your client information for our own purpose nor do we provide mailing lists to anyone.

(vi) Retention:  Successful Image will only hold your client information as long as our clients require.  Should our client request that their client information be purged from our systems or be returned to them, they need only to present that request in writing and that request will be honoured immediately.

(vi) Access:  Your access to your client information that you have provided to us is available at any time upon request.
